Assessment
An essential element in the development any client-centered treatment plan is the implementation of psychometric tools (including the Global Appraisal of Individual Needs -GAIN family of assessment tools) to assess adolescents and young adults as to both their alcohol/drug and mental health problems.
Reassessment occurs during the treatment phase and treatment plans are altered accordingly in collaboration with the client.
