Planned giving, simply stated, is where donors give cash, securities  including stocks, bonds & mutual funds, life insurance proceeds, RRSP or RRIF proceeds or real estate to a charity such as the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre. In return for this generous donation, in addition to helping the many youth seeking treatment,  you will be eligible for various tax benefits.

Planned gifts may be current or deferred. They may also provide future or immediate tax savings.

There are many ways to use planned giving to assist the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre. We suggest you contact your lawyer or financial advisor to see which options would be best for you.
